Noe

Audio Engineer and Live Sound

Owner of CastleRoc Recording and The Chicago Place

Chief Engineer

Noe is a live/studio engineer from Chicago, IL. Owner of The Chicago Place and CastleRoc Recording, Noe has created an amazing space for the next generation of music from Chicago and beyond. As a producer and beat maker, he spent years studying, creating music and working at his local recording studio, but felt the need to expand his skill set. After graduating SAE Institute Chicago, Noe worked at CRC (Chicago Recording Company) where he was responsible for some memorable sessions. Having worked with NoName, Twista, Knox Fortune, Peter Cottontale and many others, Noe was asked to handle two important projects from Chicago natives Chance the Rapper and Jeremih. He worked with Chance on Coloring Book from start to finish, as well as on Jeremih’s Late Nights : The Album. His work on Coloring Book earned him a Grammy award. Noe has also helped set up live sound and stages for events such as Lollapalooza, Pitchfork and President Obama’s Farewell speech, as well as concerts for Jay-Z & Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake and many others. He believes the engineer can and may have to wear many hats in most studio sessions. He values being able to adapt to each clients needs and providing a comfortable environment for the artists to create. His studio and event space are direct products of all the years of hard work Noe has placed into his craft. CastleRoc Recording and The Chicago Place are his vision for providing quality audio recording, rehearsal and event space plus much more. Noe will continue to be a part of a plethora of new projects coming out of Chicago in the near future.
